‘Mohammad’ among Most Popular Baby Names in U.S.
KABUL (MEP) – Most Americans, along with other names for their baby boys, chose “Mohammed” as one of the most popular names.
The name Muhammad has made the list of top 10 baby names for boys in the U.S. for the first time.
BabyCenter reports that in 2019 more families have named their baby boys after the Prophet Mohammed.
According to a parenting website BabyCenter, which publishes the most popular names of boys and girls in the United States annually, Aaliyah also climbed to the number 10 spot on the list for girls.
Other popular names include Jackson, Noah, Aiden and Grayson for boys and Olivia, Emma, Ava and Aria for girls.
Sophia remained the most popular name for girls while Liam climbed to the top spot for boys.
It is noteworthy that Mohammed has been the most popular names for firstborn sons in most countries of the world.
