Mississippi Shootings Leave 3 Dead, 1 Injured
KABUL: (MEP) At least three people have been killed and another wounded in two separate shooting incidents in Jackson, Mississippi, officials said Sunday.
JPD Officer Colendula Green said, the first incident took place on Saturday at 6:30 pm killing two men in multiple shooting at South Westhaven Drive.
Eli Nunez Sanchez, 22, died at the scene and Daniel Gomez, 22, was taken to hospital, where he was pronounced dead later.
Shortly after what officials called a double homicide, another shooting occurred in the same city leaving one man dead and another injured.
The two men, who were not identified, were shot at the Fuel Time Gas some time before 11 pm, said Green.
One of them died at the scene and the other, who was shot in the hand, was taken to hospital, he added.
Reason behind the shooting is not known yet, but officers are investigating the incident.
