Man Killed His Wife And Mother In Herat
MEP: A man has violently killed his wife and his mother in Herat city and fled the area, local officials said Tuesday.
Abdul Rauf Ahmadi, a spokesman for Herat police headquarters told the Middle East Press the incident occurred last night in Darb Iraq area.
He said a man has killed wife and mother after his family problems have not been resolved through the courts.
Ahmadi said that the police has started investigations to trace this man.
The bodies of the two women were transferred to the regional hospital.
The murdering in Herat city comes as violence against women in the country has recently increased and long ago, a mother and daughter have been killed in Faryab Province by her son.
