Maariv: Sisi Is A Strategic Treasure For Tel Aviv

On the other hand, Melman revealed information regarding the strong relations between the Israeli and Egyptian security forces, stressing the important role played by the Shin Bet in Egypt. “Yoram Cohen, head of the Shin Bet is a well-known figure among the Egyptian security agencies and that the presence of similar figures like Cohen in Egypt is a routine,” Yossi Melman added.

“There is no room for doubt that after the rise of Gen. Abdel Fattah al-Sisi to power political relations and security aid continued between Israel and Egypt at the highest levels,” Melman concluded.
