‘Labour Ministry Limits The Hiring Of Foreign Maids To Three Countries’
MEP: Mansour Jabri, the member of the hiring committee of Mecca said: Ministry of Labour and Social Cooperation restricted the hiring of foreign maids to Bangladesh, Vietnam and Cambodia countries.
The Saudi government makes no commitment towards the servants of India, Indonesia, Pakistan, Malaysia, Sri Lankan, Singapore and other nations and it does not deal with their complaints anymore.
On these matters the Saudi government will have no response to Embassy of these countries, Jaberi added.
He also said: According to conducted research, these female servants face hard living conditions in their own countries and they don’t want to return under any circumstances.
Jaberi also stated that during the last month the hiring of female maids took place in nearly 30 employment offices across the country and their wages are fluctuating according to their nationalities while its being supervised by the Ministry of Labour.
