Hundreds Of Liters Of Acid Seized In Takhar Aimed To Be Used With Heroin
KABUL: (Middle East Press) At least 800 liters of acid that was believed to be used with heroin were seized by police intelligence officials in Kalafkan district of northern Takhar province, local officials said Thursday.
Noor Muhammad Hakimi, the provincial police officer told media that the packing of the acid had been done in southern Helmand province with its destination Badakhshan province that lies in neighbor of Takhar.
Hikimi added that two people were arrested in connection with the smuggling.
The suspects are under police custody under further questioning and investigating.
