Hezbollah Sides with Palestinians in their Uprising: Nasrallah

HezobullahKABUL: (Middle East Press) Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah says the Islamic Resistance will side with the Palestinians and their intifada or uprising against the Israeli regime which has one of the strongest armies in the region.

“Today we look at young and old people in Palestine as they face by stones or knifes one of the strongest armies of the region and one of the wildest entities. We see their courage and their determination that grow up hope of the resistance of the Palestinian people and their Intifada [uprising],” he said. Sayyid Nasrallah made the remarks in an address to a ceremony held in southern Lebanon to commemorate the martyrdom of Hezbollah commander Hassan al-Hajj, known as Abu Mohammad, who lost his life in the battle against the Takfiri terrorist groups in Syria.

Noting that resistance is the only way to end Israeli occupation of Palestine, Nasrallah said the new generation of Palestine believes in resistance, dignity, and al-Aqsa mosque, and can fight tanks and troops with knives.

“We all bear the responsibility of standing with the Palestinians according to his ability and circumstances,” he said.

Touching on Hezbollah participation in the war in Syria against the Takfiri terrorist groups, the Hezbollah leader said that “we have been fighting Takfiris for more than 4 years and we are still doing so today.”

He pointed out that were it not for the steadfastness of resistance fighters on the battlefield against ISIS and other extremist groups, the situation of this region would be even worse.

Referring to the Saudi aggression against Yemen, the Hezbollah chief stated that if Saudis manage to break the resistance of the Arab nation, al-Qaeda and Takfiri elements will be able to step up their terror activities there.

The Hezbollah Secretary General stressed that those who are fighting against the takfiri project are defending the region’s people and their civilization and history, including the Sunnis and Shiites.

“Martyr Abu Mohammad was killed in this course, and through this blessed blood we are now witnessing transformations in the Arab public opinion towards the conflict.”
