Gunmen Brutally Kill Two Women In Herat
KABUL: (Middle East Press) Two women have been reportedly killed by unknown gunmen in Herat province.
Local government officials said the incident took place Tuesday night in Qala-i-Habib Khan area of Anjil District.
The officials added that the women were around 40 and 20 and are mother-in-law and daughter-in-law to each other.
Motive behind the attack is unclear yet but investigations are underway, said Abdul Rawouf Ibrahimi, spokesman for the police headquarters of Herat.
He added three suspects have been arrested so far regarding the assassination and are in police custody for further examinations.
