MEP: A group of five terrorists have been arrested by the national army forces in a military operation in Ghazni province.
Hanif Rezaei, a spokesman for the Afghan National Army brigade in the province, told the Middle East News Agency the operation was launched last night in Maqar Rah district.
The militants were arrested with all of their equipment and their case has been sent to the Attorney General for National Security, Rezaei added.
Meanwhile, the Afghan National Army brigade spokesman noted that as a result of an airstrike in Giro and Nawa districts of the province, 21 Taliban were killed and seven others wounded.
Two vehicles belonging to terrorists were also destroyed during the operation, Rezaei further added.
This comes as armed Taliban yesterday evening have executed eleven security soldiers in Andar district of Ghazni province.
