Karzai Leaves To U.S. To Attend Muhammad Ali’s Funeral

MEP: Former President Hamdi Karzai has left the country to United States to attend the funeral of the greatest boxer Muhammad Ali.

The body of Ali is expected to be buried today in the US city of Louisville with the attendance of a number of countries’ senior officials.

Muhammad Ali also known as ‘Cassius Marcellus Clay’ on (3rd-June 2016) after 32 years of Parkinson’s disease, due to respiratory problems at the age of 74 died in hospital in Scottsdale.

He began boxing at the age of twelve and in just 10 years later (1964) became the world’s champion in boxing.

In addition to heavyweight boxing matches, “Cassius Clay” was also famous for other reasons; he embraced Islam and changed his name to “Muhammed” and his surname to “Ali”.
