Ghazni High School Set on Fire by Gunmen

unknown men set ghazni school on fireKABUL: (Middle East Press) A high school known as “Imam Hudad” has been set on fire by Unknown gunmen in Ghazni province, local officials said Wednesday.

The burning took place in Khosk area about 10pm Tuesday night, Mohammad Abid Abid, the director of the directorate of education in Ghazni province said.

Abid added that the gunmen have fled the area after burning off the school

According to Abid, three classrooms suffered damages due to the fire but further damages were prevented after villagers reached to the school and smothered the fire.

Hundreds of boys are students of this high school in the morning and girls in the afternoon.

Police has started an investigation into the incident.
