From the Uprising of Imam Khomeini to the Uprising of Imam Mahdi
KABUL: (Middle East Press) The twentieth century can be considered as one of the most eventful centuries of human history; the century that witnessed bloodiest destructive conflicts in the earth. Among all the events of this century, the uprising of Imam Khomeini in Iran that led to the overthrow a 2,500 year old monarchy and replacing it with the Islamic Republic, the first of its kind in history led by a religious cleric, was to be one of the most important developments of this century, and perhaps important Most considered.
Imam Khomeini in 1939, with the official opposition to capitulation law or diplomatic immunity granted by the Shah to American military personnel in Iran, started his revolutionary activities and in 1979 after 40 years of effort and endeavor was succeeded.
However of years ago, he explained his plan for the phases after the overthrowing of the autocratic monarchy he passed a long period to improve himself and self- refinement, with teaching Islamic government. He also began to train informed students to make them ready for different phases of the revolution and also to hold the main burden of enlightenment and guidance, as well as taking government responsibility after the victory, something that made this revolution different from similar revolutions.
But definitely the goals and ideals of this revolution are the main difference of the uprising of Imam Khomeini with other revolutions:
1- Restore the trampled dignity of the Iranian people
2- Establishment an example of the progressive of an Islamic state for the patterning of other Muslims and people of the world
3-The awakening of Muslims and oppressed people of the world to the tyranny of oppressors
4- Unify Muslims of the world to confront the conspiracies of main enemies of the Islamic Ummah, especially Zionism
5-Restore dignity of human with informing them about their numerous talents and capacities in light of return to the original, moderate and realistic Islam
6-To save the world’s most deprived from oppression of the tyrannical rulers
7-Prepare the ground for the emergence of Imam Mahdi, the savior of humanity that will save all the poor and oppressed and establish justice and peace on the planet.
Imam Khomeini announced his ideals and goals consistently in all phases of the Iranian revolution and after the establishment of the Islamic system, in practice proved his commitment to these principles and ideals, the following are some example:
-Attempt to create unity among Shiite and Sunni Muslims and set aside differences
-Set one day per year as the International Day of Quds to show comprehensive support of Muslims (Shiite and Sunni) towards the oppressed people of Palestine and fight against Israel
-The revival of the disavowal of pagans ceremony during the Hajj ceremony, huge gathering of Muslims (Shiite and Sunni)
– Widespread support from the oppressed nations against the oppressors such as the Palestinian people against the occupiers of Quds though they are Sunnis
– Widespread support for the oppressed people of Afghanistan and the Afghan mujahedin against the Soviet occupation, despite the majorities were Sunnis.
– Full respect to all rights of the Ahlus Sunnah in Iran in the constitution and the establishment of religious schools, mosques and etc. for them.
-Protecting the rights of other religions’ followers, such as Christianity and Judaism and etc. in Iran.
– Revival of Mahdism and the expecting the uprising of Imam Mahdi.
After the demise of Imam Khomeini in 1977, contrary to the plan & expectations of Iran’s enemies, Imam Khamenei as his successor followed the same principles and with continued support of Muslims and oppressed people of the world practically moved towards the goals & ideals of Imam Khomeini.
Including Iran’s support for Islamic groups like the Muslim Brotherhood and its jihadist’s branches, the Sunnis Islamic groups such as Hamas and Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine, oppressed nations of Sunnis in Syria, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Yemen, Egypt and Tunisia; Shiites like Hezbollah in Lebanon and the oppressed people of Bahrain as well as other oppressed nations such as oppressed people of Latin America, which it represents the truth of Iran’s claim to support the oppressed and the poor of the world, regardless of their religion or sect.
Another important issue which is followed by Iran’s leaders is the subject of the emergence of Imam al-Mahdi and their efforts to prepare the ground for the coming of Imam Mahdi and clarify world public opinion on this issue.
When enemies of humanity and world oppressors realized Imam Mahdi is going to eradicate injustice and corruption and establish justice and peace in the world tried so much to prevent the emergence of Imam Mahdi and its uprising.
One of their most important plans to prevent the emergence of Imam Mahdi is suppression of any uprising and they demonize Imam Mahdi in world’s eyes as well.
So they introduce Imam Mahdi as a warmonger, bloodthirsty and enemy of mankind, inhibit the tendency of the world for him and each person or group who prepares the ground for his uprising.
They seek to create public hatred towards Islam by creating anti-Islamic terrorist groups in the name of Islam (such as al-Qaeda & ISIL) and their comprehensive support of them and extensive coverage of news related to their crimes but they will not get the desired result because Islam designed according human nature.
Imam Mahdi would rise to establish lasting peace and security and also to put an end to all forms of oppression, bloodshed, corruption, the killing & looting and discrimination.
The 12th Imam, Imam Mahdi is the Imam of goodness, kindness, affection, compassion, humanity and wisdom he is away from all forms of violence, discrimination, evil and ugliness.
