KABUL: (Middle East Press) UPDATE: At least 16 people have been injured following an explosion in northern Baghlan province.
“The blast took place near the police headquarters of Markazi Baghlan district at around 9:30 am caused by remote-controlled from distance was detonated at the gates of the headquarters leaving sixteen wounded.” Zabiullah Shuja, a spokesman for Baghlan police said.
Shuja added, those wounded were transferred to the local hospital and some of them are in critical conditions.
Two civilians are among the injured.
No group has so far claimed responsibility for the attack.
