KABUL: (Middle East Press) A Lebanese intelligence official announced that Ahmed al-Assir in his shocking confessions unveiled his regional supporters and Takfiri groups.
According to the report, Ahmad al-Assir in his confession revealed his cooperation with the security authorities in Qatar to create unrest in Lebanon.
He also admitted that he received a huge amount of money to create conflict, tension and chaos in Lebanon and through his wife distributed it among Takfiri elements.
Also Lebanese interior Minister Nahad Mashnuq said that Qatar is responsible for the recent unrest in Lebanon.
Ahmed al-Assir also has admitted his secret communications with Saudi Ambassador to Lebanon Ali Awad Asiri. In order to carry out terrorist acts he has always been associated with Saudi officials. He also carried out terrorist operations in Sunni areas and ascribes the actions to Hezbollah to stimulate Sunnis against Hezbollah.
