Explosion In Baghlan School Injures Four Students
MEP: Local officials in northern Baghlan province say four students were wounded as a result of a magnetic bomb explosion in a school in central Baghlan district.
Gawharkhan Babari district governor of Central Baghlan district said the incident occurred this morning inside the Central High School in which four students wounded.
Babari added the injured have been transferred to the hospital and their health condition is satisfactory.
Meanwhile, witnesses say the explosive was placed inside a box of books that went off before the arrival of students.
There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the attack.
This is not the first the enemies of Afghanistan place bombs inside schools in the province, during the recent months a number of students were killed and wounded as militants explode mines inside their schools. They either plant bombs in schools or set them on fire in order to ban the students from educating.
