KABUL: (MEP) Following Turkish overthrowing of the Russian aircraft, Francois Hollande has recently headed for Moscow in order to mitigate the political crisis between Turkey and Russia, and besides meeting Vladimir Putin, has invited him to travel to France.

According to the Russian news site “realnienovosti”, Putin accepted his French counterpart’s invitation and traveled to France to take part in the climate summit and has had a secret meeting with Rejab Tayyib Erdogan as arranged by Holland.

According to this report, a source aware from this meeting has written on his Facebook page that Erdogan has apologized to Putin during the meeting and has asked him to forgive Turkey and end his reactions, but that Putin has rebuked this, stating “You can’t expect mercy when you call NATO instead of calling me!”

The source goes on to quote Putin as saying to Erdogan: “Do you think they will support you in this situation? You made an error and you have to forfeit”.

Later on Putin sarcastically says to Erdogan that Turkey is a worthless element in the superpowers’ game and angrily leaves the meeting room.
