Electricity shortage in Kabul continues

Following the blowing up of a 220 KV electricity base in Pul-e Alchin area of Kunduz city, electricity outage occurred in some provinces including Kabul.

The Middle East Press: Following the blowing up of a 220 KV electricity base in Pul-e Alchin area of Kunduz city, electricity outage occurred in some provinces including Kabul.

“Around 8 pm last night, a 220 KV electricity tower base was blown up with mine planted by unknown men” told the area office of Breshna Sherkat

As the source added blowing up of this electricity base caused electricity outrages in provinces of Kabul, Parwan and Maidan Shahr

Kunduz police, however, has yet to comment regarding the issue.

Our several calls to the head of Kunduz electricity directorate for more details about the exact time of having the destroyed base fixed, got nowhere.
