“I meet with the prime minister regularly once a month, but over the past two months we did not get to meet and until things are removed from the agenda, we probably don’t need to meet because each of us is busy with the same issues.” Rivlin said. In response to a question as to whether “Netanyahu” endangered Israel’s ties with America or not, Rivilin said that U.S.-Israel Relationship is not only historical, but also is strong and solid.

Rivlin also acknowledged his own differences with the premier, especially over ties with the United States, Israel’s number one ally and said Netanyahu not only missed chances to repair US ties but also caused EU sanctions on Israel and added that he is week in foreign policy.
