Daesh Terrorists Suffer Heavy Casualties In Nangarhar’s Pechiragam
MEP: Afghan security forces launched two massive military operations in Pechiragam district of Nangarhar province, in which 54 Daesh (ISIS/ISIL) terrorists were killed.
Both air and ground operations were conducted in the past 24 hours, the Press Office of Nangarhar said in a statement on Saturday.
In the last night’s operation in Paas area of the district, 22 members of the terrorist group were killed along with four members of armed Taliban, the statement added.
According to the statement, four civilians were also killed and 27 others injured during the operations while 17 houses have been burned by Daesh terrorist group.
Heavy clashes still continue in the district, the statement further added.
