Clinton: We Created Al-Qaeda
MEP: Hillary Rodham Clinton, former United States Secretary of State and a candidate for the Democratic presidential nomination in the 2016 election admits following video features published by various social media and a US site ‘Global Research’ that America created and funded Al Qaeda as a terrorist organization in the heyday of the Soviet-Afghan war.
“Let’s remember here… the people we are fighting today we funded them twenty years ago… let’s go recruit these mujahideen.”
“And great, let them come from Saudi Arabia and other countries, importing their Wahabi brand of Islam so that we can go beat the Soviet Union.” The Global Research reported citing the video.
Clinton says in the video, “We had this brilliant Idea that we were going to come to Pakistan and create a force of ‘Mujahideen’ and equip them with stinger missiles and everything else to go after the soviets inside Afghanistan and we were successful.”
“Let’s remember here… the people we are fighting today we funded them twenty years ago… and we did it because we were locked in a struggle with the Soviet Union.
“They invaded Afghanistan… and we did not want to see them control Central Asia and we went to work… and it was President Reagan in partnership with Congress led by Democrats who said you know what it sounds like a pretty good idea… let’s deal with the ISI and the Pakistan military and let’s go recruit these mujahideen.” Clinton stated.
Global Research website also quotes Clinton, says NATO member states against Daesh (ISIS or ISIL) use in order to achieve theirs’ and Israel’s goals.
Global Research wrote “those who pretend that they are responsible for global war on terrorism are terrorists in fact.”
