Ceremony To Honor The Martyrs Of Nubl And Al-Zahraa
Al-Waght: yesterday in the town of Nubl located 20 kilometers to the north of Aleppo, a ceremony was held at the main mosque in the city in honor of the martyrs of Nubl and Al-Zahraa and to revive the culture of martyrdom and sacrifice.
At the beginning of the ceremony, Sheikh Faisal Khrman, the prominent cleric of Nubl made a speech on martyrdom and sacrifice and its position in Islam. He also spoke about the dignity and status of martyr in the eyes of the Merciful God.
Following his speech, Sheikh Faisal Khrman quoted the Prophet (PBHU) regarding the status of martyrs and those who sacrifice themselves for the sake of Allah; he said:
Avoid hurting or offending those who sacrifice their lives for God’s sake since God Himself supports them and responds to the prayers of his prophets and saints.
He added: God and his Eminent Prophet shed light on the status of the martyrs and those who sacrifice their lives for divine causes, so that we can get a better understanding of their eminence and reagrd their rights and pay homage to them.
He continued his speech and drew attention to the courage of the martyrs and the sacrifices they made in the battlefield for the sake of God, and the fact that how such a soldier fights against the enemy without fear of death and he struggles with them as if he sees the light of the Prophet right ahead of himself.
Sheikh Khrman ended his speech with this question. What will the Lord grant the martyrs? In response to this question he cited to??? the following statement and said: ” The Almighty God said, the first gift granted upon them is that they can see the truth and feel close to God to see Him, and He will give them a special reward of which He Himself is aware.
In the end, the prominent cleric pointed out that the dissemination of the spirit of martyrdom and sacrifice among young people will turn out to be a tight blocking barrier against the enemies’ soft war and we should take steps to inculcate the spirit of martyrdom.
