Bin Laden’s Son: I Will Take My Father’s Revenge From US
MEP: The son of Osama bin Laden, the former al-Qaida leader, has vowed revenge against the US for assassinating his father, the group’s media released an audio message on Saturday.
Hamza bin Laden promised to continue the global militant group’s fight against the United States and its allies in the 21-minute speech entitled “We Are All Osama,” according to the SITE Intelligence Group, an organisation that tracks white supremacist and jihadi organisations online.
He tells Americans that they are accountable for the decisions of their leaders adding that al-Qaida will continue waging jihad, or holy war, against the U.S. in response to its “oppression” of Muslims.
“We will continue striking you and targeting you in your country and abroad in response to your oppression of the people of Palestine, Afghanistan, Syria, Iraq, Yemen, Somalia and the rest of the Muslim lands that did not survive your oppression,” Hamza noted.
He also added “If you think that your sinful crime that you committed in Abbottabad has passed without punishment, then you thought wrong.”
Osama bin Laden was killed by US commandos in 2011 at his Pakistani hideout in a major blow to the militant group which carried out the September 11 attacks.
