Ayatollah Khamenei: US and foreign powers are looking to create a new Israeli
On Wednesday October 4th, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan met with Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei and discussed the important issues of the Middle East, and in particular the issue of Kurdistan.
According to reports, Khamenei, Iran’s Supreme Leader pointed the referendum in Kurdistan, the United States plan and said that European and American countries want to build another Israel.
Khamenei said that “the views of the US and European governments on the issue of Kurdistan are quite different from Iran and Turkey, and the United States is willing to always have a harmful factor against Iran and Turkey, Therefore We cannot trust Americans and Europeans and their positions at all.”
According to the supreme leader’s news source’s website, Ayatollah Khamenei also said, “Iran and Turkey must take every possible step in confronting this incident, and the Iraqi government must also take a serious decision on this matter,”
He also said: “the United States and foreign powers are unreliable and are looking to create a new Israeli in the region.”
In the course of this discussion, Khamenei discussed the talks with Erdogan on the meeting of Astana; Khamenei, referring to the meeting of Astana and cooperation between Iran and Turkey on the talks, said: “Of course, the issue of Daesh (ISIL/ISIS) and Takfiris will not end in this way. Solving this requires a long-term and realistic plan. ”
This comes as Turkish president arrived in Tehran on Wednesday to discuss a possible joint response against a Kurdish vote in favour of secession in Iraq, a result with both Turkey and Iran fiercely oppose.
“During the visit, expansion of economic and trade ties were discussed. Regional issues, including Syria, Iraq and the referendum in Iraq’s Kurdistan were also highlighted,” Iranian State TV reported.
