All Borders Between Afghanistan And Pakistan Reopened

MEP:  Nawaz Sharif, Pakistan’s prime minister has ordered to open country’s all borders with Afghanistan.

Afghanistan’s borders with Pakistan, from a month onwards, according to the decision of Islamabad, had been blocked and today (20 March), the borders are opened.

Office of the Prime Minister of Pakistan by publishing a statement, said that the decision is taken by Nawaz Sharif and after this, all transactions are done as in the past.

The statement quoted the Prime Minister of Pakistan has expressed his hope that Afghanistan to act against terrorists that the border was closed due to their activities.

The statement also said the reopening of the Torkham border, Spin Boldak and other roads, as taken in good faith since both countries share common ties of religion, culture and history.

Pakistan nearly a month before and after the recent deadly attacks in the country claimed were designed by terrorists hidden in Afghanistan, had closed its border with Afghanistan.

But Kabul has flatly refused Islamabad’s claim over and over again.

While the Pakistani border was blocked, major financial losses were entered to businessmen of both countries and problems of the people who were going to Pakistan for treatment or a trip, had also risen sharply.
