Afghanistan Hits 60 New Confirmed Cases of COVID-19

KABUL (MEP) – The number of confirmed cases of coronavirus in Afghanistan reached 993 after 60 new infections were reported on Sunday.

The Public Health Minister Ferozuddin Feroz attending a press conference in Kabul said that the new cases were recorded in the past 24 hours.

The new positive cases bring the total poll to 993 in Afghanistan.

MoPH declares that 32 COVID-19 patients have been died due to virus and 131 patients were recovered and discharged from the hospitals so far.

Meanwhile, the Herat Public Health Department says from a total of 48 suspected cases since yesterday, four were tested positive.

Sources added that the new patients of the COVID-19 in Herat include one man and three women.
