Afghanistan And Britain To Expand Economic Relations

10157162_944150235661219_3988526150013776125_nKABUL: (MEP) President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani met with Simon Lawrance Gass, Great Britain’s special representative for Afghanistan and Pakistan in Kabul.

Gass, regarding the programs and plans of the Government of Great Britain for Afghanistan and the region presented information.

Great Britain Special Representative has assured of his country’s continued support and cooperation in various fields with the people and government of Afghanistan.

The two sides also discussed issues on how to strengthen relations, expanding economic cooperation between the two countries.

Meanwhile, President Ghani praised the help and cooperation of Britain in various sectors, especially the mission in Afghanistan and called this cooperation “effective and worthwhile” in the strengthening and expanding relations between the two nations.

During the meeting, about the preparation for Brussels and Warsaw Conferences in mid-year on Afghanistan were also discussed.
