Afghan Refugees Would Not Forcefully Deported From Australia

MEP: Australian Prime Minister promised to President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani that in addition to supporting Afghanistan, forced return of Afghan refugees to their country, will not be raised.

The decision was taken in the final days of President Ghani’s visit in Australia and Malcolm Turnbull promised that Afghan refugees can follow up their migration process request with a calm mind.

Australian media reported that the country has made virtuous promises for Afghanistan in various sectors and is expected, Australia’s role in Afghanistan to be more than before.

This comes as coinciding with the President’s trip to Australia, a large number of Afghan refugees that their requests did not accept and are threatened with fear of forced eviction, had protested in Canberra.

The protesters demanded the revision of the 2011 agreement between Afghanistan and Australia in the forced return of refugees to Afghanistan.
