Security Forces Release 7 Of Kidnapped Passengers In Kunduz

The kidnapping took place in the village of Bagh Ameri that seven of them were freed by the security forces and 40 others are still in the group’s custody.

Assadullah Omarkhail governor of Kunduz confirmed the report saying operations are ongoing to drop 40 other passengers.

The kidnapping comes as last week more than 200 passengers had been abducted in Kunduz – Baghlan highway by armed Taliban who were heading towards northeastern provinces from Kabul. Later the militants killed 12 of them and many others still held captive.
