According to the report, if Saudi government’s spending at the same level continues, Saudi Arabia’s foreign exchange reserves which at the moment have $ 670 billion will be finished by three years.

In line with this, Al Arabi 21 News Agency revealed that Saudi Arabia witnessed a wave of protests and strike in recent weeks. Many of the workers and staffs have voiced frustration that they have not received their salaries from the company more than six months.

Also thousands of workers and employees of contracting companies in Saudi Arabia have refused to go to work and were demanding payment of their salaries.

On the other hand, due to delay the payment of salaries, the Saudi Department Labor also has stopped deals with these companies which include extending visas to workers and issuing new work visas. Therefore it has doubled workers’ problems because if the validity of their visas expires they won’t be able to make ends meet.
