KABUL: (Middle East Press) The National Procurement Commission (NPC) has approved 10 contracts worth of AFG822 million.
A statement released by Presidential Palace “ARG” on Sunday states that these contracts belong to the Office of Administrative Affairs, public work, defense and interior ministries
According to the statement, 18 projects related to Da Afghanistan Bank, Office of Administrative Affairs, agriculture, public work, higher education, defense and interior ministries were reviewed in the NPC meeting on Saturday evening but 10 of them were approved.
AFG1052 million were saved in three contracts of the ministries of defense and interior compare to previous years.
This year, NPC has saved more than AFG9 billion in contracts compared to previous years.
The meeting was chaired by President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani and attended second Vic-President Mohammad Sarwar Danish, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Abdullah Abdullah, Minister of Finance Eklil Hakimi, Minister of Justice Abdul Basir Anwar and Minister of Economy Abdul Sattar Murad.
