7 Killed, Wounded in Nangarhar Traffic Accident

KABUL (MEP) — Four people were killed and three others were injured in a traffic accident in Momand-Dara district of Nangarhar province.

The incident happened this morning Monday, August 26, in the Ghazgi village, Momand Dara district governor, Nassim Shinwari told Middle East Press (MEP).

A Hilux collided with a Corolla car in the incident, said Momand Dara district governor.

Four Corolla onboard, including one woman, were killed and three Hilux onboard were injured, Shinwari said.

The wounded were taken to Jalalabad city hospital, he further added.

High speed and lack of attention and observance of traffic laws and signs are among the major causes of traffic accidents in the country that have caused many casualties.
