22 Yemenis Killed In Three-ISIS Terrorist Attacks
KABUL: (MEP) Yemeni security sources announced that at least twenty two people have been killed in three successive explosions claimed by Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) in southern city of Eden.
The blasts on Friday targeted security checkpoint, also wounded dozens of civilians.
In one blast, an ambulance laden with explosives was detonated as it arrived at a military checkpoint in the Buraiqa area in northwestern Aden, killing about 10 soldiers and civilians, witnesses and security sources said.
The other two bombs struck checkpoints on the road to a base used by the Saudi-led military coalition that is fighting in Yemen. Security sources said at least 12 people died, though with no immediate reports of coalition soldiers among the casualties.
Amaq, a news agency affiliated with Islamic State, said the group claimed all three attacks and that at least 22 people had died.
