DAY 20 / FEBRUARY 8: President Donald Trump criticized Nordstrom for what he said was its unfair treatment of his daughter Ivanka after its decision to not purchase her clothing line for this upcoming season. "My daughter Ivanka has been treated so unfairly by @Nordstrom. She is a great person -- always pushing me to do the right thing! Terrible!," Trump said on Twitter. In a statement a week earlier, Nordstrom said it routinely cuts brands each year and that the decision to pass on the Ivanka Trump brand had been based on its performance. Nordstrom is one of many retailers targeted by the #grabyourwallet campaign that urges consumers to shun businesses associated with the Trump family. کشورهای عربستان و امارات متحده عربی، تصمیم گرفته‌اند تا به بنیاد «ایوانکا ترامپ»، کمک‌های میلیونی انجام دهند.
به گزارش خبرگزاری خاورمیانه، شبکه خبری «سی‌ان‌ان» در گزارشی آورده است که این کمک‌های مالی هنگفت به مرکز «بانوان کارآفرین» داده می‌شود.
مرکز «بانوان کارآفرین» از سوی بانک جهانی و با سرپرستی ایوانکا ترامپ، دختر رئیس‌جمهور امریکا راه‌اندازی می‌شود.
حال و بعد از همراهی ایوانکا ترامپ با پدرش به ریاض، پایتخت عربستان، دو کشور امارات متحده عربی و عربستان متعهد شده‌اند تا مبلغ ۱۰۰ میلیون دالر را به بنیاد ایوانکا ترامپ اهدا کنند.
اولین سفر خارجی دونالد ترامپ به عنوان رئیس‌جمهور امریکا به عربستان یک سفر پردرآمد برای خانواده وی بوده است.
