US Tries To Improve Ties Between Pakistan & Afghanistan
KABUL: (MEP) United States confirmed its support to improved bilateral ties between Afghanistan and Pakistan, in a trilateral meeting between Vice President Joe Biden, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Afghan President Ashraf Ghani, the White House said.
In a statement issued about the meeting held on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Switzerland, the White House said the meeting discussed recent efforts to relaunch peace talks between the Afghan government and the Taliban.
