UPDATED: 1 Dead, 6 Injured In Nangarhar’s Explosion On Local Police
MEP: A policeman was killed and six others wounded in a suicide attack in Ghani Khel district of eastern Nangarhar province on Thursday.
Hazrat Hussain Mashriqwal, spokesman for Nangarhar police chief said the attack occurred around 11:20am when a suicide bomber detonated his explosives near a local police and a clinic.
Mashriqwal confirmed one local police killed and six civilians wounded.
The injured people have been transferred to a hospital in the district, he added.
No group including Taliban insurgents claimed responsibility for the attack so far.
