KABUL: (MEP) Unidentified gunmen shot and killed a Mullah (clergyman) of Abu-Hanifa mosque in Parwan province, local officials said Tuesday.
Governor’s spokesman for Parwan province, confirming the attack said Mawlawi Agha Mohammad Habibi was killed Monday evening in Charikar city, the provincial capital.
According to Parwan governor’s spokesman, the gunmen attacked Habibi while he was heading towards his residence right after performing the vespers (evening prayer).
No arrest has so far made regarding the incident. However, Investigations are underway.
