KABUL: (Middle East Press) At least eleven civilians including eight children were killed and two others wounded after two separate explosions in western part of Kabul city on Tuesday evening.
The first explosion took place in Se Bangi area of 13th police district was caused by a mortar shell leaving eight children dead between the ages of “9 to 14”.
Sediq Sediqi, spokesman for the Ministry of Interior (MoI), said the children were playing in the area when the incident took place.
Meanwhile, another blast occurred in the 5th police district of capital Kabul killing three civilians.
The attack was caused by a planted bomb inside a boiling cooker.
