Three Women Shot Dead In Jawzjan And Bamyan
MEP: Three women have been brutally killed in Bamyan and Jawzjan provinces by their husbands and fiancées.
Colonel Abdul Hafeez Khashy, head of Jawzjan provincial security police said a commander of a popular uprising has killed two of his wives by opening fire on them last night in Khanqah district.
The commander fled the area after killing his wives, he said.
Khashy stated that the cause of the incident is not yet clear and the review team has been dispatched to the area.
According to another report, a young man shot dead his fiancé in Yakowlang district of Bamyan province.
His fiancée was around 21 years old.
Local authorities in the province say the man has surrendered himself to police headquarter after killing his fiancé.
