Taliban Insurgents Abduct Two Students In Maidan Wardak
KABUL: (MEP) Taliban insurgents have reportedly kidnapped two students and a driver in Jalrez district of Maidan Wardak province.
The insurgents transferred the people in an unknown location, Haji Ahmad Jafari, head of the provincial council in Maidan-Wardak said.
According to Jafari, the kidnapping took place after students were heading towards Kabul from Daikundi province when the insurgents stopped their vehicle and abducted them.
The students are named as Asadullah and Mohammad Wahid.
Motive behind the abduction is unclear and the Taliban insurgents are yet to comment on the report.
