Taliban Commander For ‘Sheikh Ali’ District Detained In Parwan
MEP: The security forces of public order launched military operations in Parwan province, as a result, a Taliban military commander for Sheikh Ali district of the province was arrested.
The press office of Parwan province issued a statement saying the operations were conducted last night in the vicinity of Sheikh Ali district.
The statement adds that Mullah Naim, who heads the Taliban’s military had arrested in Gorband area and is being held under police investigation.
With the arrest of Mullah Naim, the military power of the armed Taliban reduces.
Taliban have not yet commented in this regard.
