KABUL: (MEP) Security officials in Kunar province say armed groups affiliated with the Taliban, shot dead six members of a family in Nari district.
Abdul Habib Sayed Khil, Police chief of Kunar province said the incident took place last night in Beri-Kot area.
Those killed include two children, two women and two men who had moved to the area from neighboring Nooristan province, according to Sayed-Khil.
Taliban fighters stormed the residence of “Bahadur-Shah” and killed six members of his family including him.
No arrests have been made so far in connection to the killing of six members of a family.
However, investigations are underway.
