The agency said that the terrorists have suffered heavy casualties during the operations while a number of them fled to areas near the Turkish border.

Around 50 of terrorists were killed and injured in the operations as Syrian forces discovered and dismantled explosive devices in the liberated areas.

According to source, Syrian troops later took several other areas and hills in the area.
