Taliban captures crew membersMEP: The armed Taliban claimed that six Pakistani helicopter crew on board crashed in the district of Azra in Logar province have been arrested by them.

A Punjabi state helicopter on Friday that was going to Russia through Uzbekistan has been crashed due to a technical fault in Afghanistan’s Logar province, according to local media.

However, Pakistani newspapers reported that a senior Taliban commander confirmed that all the six Pakistani crew members are with the Taliban and are in perfect health.

The Taliban said that consultations with the Pakistani government to release the crew and determine the conditions for their freedom continues.

Taliban also addressed to the government of Pakistan, has said that consultations with US and the Afghan officials in this regard is useless. “They should negotiate with the Taliban to secure the release of the members”.

The Afghan security meanwhile trying to release the captured crew members.
