Sediq Afghan In Critical Condition
MEP: Sediq Afghan, Afghanistan’s mathematician who is imprisoned since a long time onwards, has digested into a coma after bleeding from the mouth and nose and is under treatment at the police hospital.
Sources have told the Middle East News Press that Sediq has been transferred to 200 Bestar (beds) hospital on Sunday evening.
According to the sources, the prominent mathematician had been arrested by Kabul police around 2 months before after he called for the opening up of the closed ways by public administration in the city.
Kabul police said that Sediq Afghan had claimed to stay in the police custody until his demand is fulfilled despite numerous efforts to withdraw him from prison.
Police added that Mr Sediq had also previously faced with bleeding nose problem.
Kabul police meanwhile rejected the beating of Sediq Afghan by police personnel.
