Security Troops Clear Several Villages Of ISIL In Pechyragam
MEP: As a result of a joint security operation in Pechyragam district of eastern Nangarhar province, five members of the Daesh (ISIL/ISIS) terrorist group killed, four wounded and several villages were also cleared of this group.
The Ministry of Interior said in a statement on Saturday the operation was launched last night in the surrounding areas of the district.
A massive operation is currently underway to crush the terror group in the district and the operation will continue until the total liquidation insecure areas of the district.
A rocket launcher, five different types of weapons were also seized by security forces during the operation.
