Roadside Mine Kills Four Children In Zabul
MEP: As a result of the explosion of a roadside mine in the Shah Joy district of Zabul province, four children were killed and one was wounded.
Wazir Mohammad Jawadi, District governor told Middle East News Agency the bomb exploded on Friday afternoon in Taazi area when the children were playing at the roadside.
No group has so far claimed responsibility for the blast. However, such incidents often put on Taliban insurgents as they rapidly attempt to carry out attacks across the country.
This comes as the UN political office in Afghanistan has publicized the roadside bomb blast in the country as the main cause of civilian casualties.
