KABUL: (Middle East Press) President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani headed a delegation of senior government visited Kunduz province on Thursday morning.
Ghani is scheduled to meet with security officials, local authorities and public administration, and have a last discussion over the status of Kunduz situation, according to reports.
He will also hold meetings with members of the provincial council and local community elders and listen to their recommendations for improvement.
President Ghani is accompanied by ministers for natural disaster management, Hajj and Religious Affairs, Transport and Aviation, other Kabul based officials and journalists.
Kunduz province fell by Taliban about one and half months ago and security forces have recaptured the city following the military operations.
