President Ghani Participates In The Funeral Of Uzbek President
MEP: President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani left Kabul to Samarkand city of Uzbekistan to attend the funeral and burial of the body of Islam Karimov, President of Uzbekistan.
A statement by his office (ARG) said the president a head of a high-ranking official left the city on Saturday morning.
Islam Karimov ha sdied at the age of 78 on Friday in Tashkent and based on specified program is scheduled to be buried in his native city of Samarkand.
The world’s leaders are expected to take part at the funeral of Karimov.
