President Ghani Leaves For Brussels To Seek Aid

MEP: National unity government leaders to convince the leaders of the international community to continue assistance to Afghanistan, were headed to Brussels on Monday.

A statement was released by Presidential Palace (ARG) saying President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani has left Kabul for Brussels summit this afternoon.

The President is accompanied with a high-level delegation during the three-day visit to the capital of Belgium, the statement added.

It is worth mentioning that CEO Abdullah Abdullah after meeting with his family in India, would also head to Brussels.

Ghani is expected to present the Afghan government’s achievements in reforms, good governance, women’s rights, investment in the private sector, economic development and other issues at the Brussels summit, the statement further added.
