President Ghani Leaves Country For Qatar
MEP: President Ashraf Ghani has arrived in Qatar on a two-day official visit a head of a high ranking delegation on Saturday.
The President is expected to meet and hold talks with the country’s senior officials including the Emir of Qatar during the visit, a statement by Presidential Palace (ARG) said.
No more details were given on the report.
Taliban office in Qatar
Qatar has always been important for Afghanistan since it’s the location of Taliban’s political office which the insurgents positioned many times from the center on the various issues.
This comes as recently the preliminary agreement has been finalized with Hezb-e-Islami Party and is waited for the signature of Gulbuddin Hekmatyar and the President.
